Ciro Chiapponi begins his musical studies with M° Giuliano Alessandri at the “A.Boito ”in Parma where he graduated in Viola in 1992. In 1991 he attended the Bisentina Academy and in 1992 the stage "Instrumental art between soloism, ensemble music and orchestra "collaborating with the masters Pradella, Kramer, Filippini, Libermann, Peev and Samale.

Since 1989 he has been active in the formation of chamber music groups such as: “Il Divertimento Musicale "," Quartetto Farnese "," Barocco Ensemble "," Quintetto Stadler "," Voces Intimae "," Ensemble Guidantus "and" Ensemble Allegro ", with which he engages in activities concerts and didactic activities in numerous Italian cities. From 1992 to 1994 he joined the "Rai Symphony Orchestra" of Milan participating to the realization of concerts with internationally renowned conductors and soloists such as: Mischa Maisky, Ion Marin, Viktoria Mullova, David Geringas, Vladimir Delman, Alicia de Larrocha, Maria Tipo.

 To starting from 1993 he collaborated with the symphonic orchestras "A. Toscanini", "Orchestra Romana Internazionale ”,“ Amadeus Orchestra ”,“ Bologna Chamber Orchestra ”,“ Camerata Musicale Pisana ”and from 2009 with the“ Virtuosi Italiani ”.

In 2010 he participates with the chamber ensemble "Ensemble Allegro" (of which he is a founding member) to a brilliant concert tour in major Japanese cities, performing in prestigious internationally renowned halls (Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Kyoto Concert Hall, etc. ) and obtaining a broad consensus from the public and critics. He has been member of the Ensemble Guidantus with whom he recorded several CDs dedicated to Vivaldi and Pisendel.

Since 2010, he has joined his concert activity as a teacher of Violin, Viola and Modern piano. He perfects himself in composition and arrangement by publishing in 2021 his first cd “Fragments of Lights” containing pieces for solo piano and other instruments.

Currently he collaborates with various orchestras and chamber groups among which we remember: Orchestra City of Ferrara, Cantieri d'Arte Orchestra and I Musici di Parma. I have been working for years as a violist and accompanying pianist, I have various experiences as an arranger with chamber music groups and orchestras. I regularly use software like Cubase, Sibelius, Notion3.

 I love to listen to all genres of music to always keep up to date, I love Fantasy and Action Movies. I am always looking for new ideas for my work. I am very motivated to teamwork and open to new experiences.
